Picture in a Frame


Your pictures are in frames, memories on my wall,
To have you here again, I would give them all.
A picture cannot capture, the beauty of your skin,
Or the radiating glow I'd feel, whenever you would grin.
They cannot talk or sing to me, the way you used to do,
I'll never love another, the way that I love you.


So I look at you my soul mate, a picture in a frame,
I cry my tears of sorrow, cause I feel God's to blame.
He came and took the one, who made my life complete,
And all that's left are pictures, and an empty seat.
I also have a feeling down, deep within my heart,
It's the pain of loneliness, since we've been apart.


I try not to let the grief, just overcome my day,
I'll blow a kiss to heaven and send it when I pray.
I'll ask God to free me now, from a world so blue,
To take me up to Paradise, so I can fly with you.
I'm waiting for the day you come, calling out my name,
Until then I'll be staring at, your picture in a frame.

Broken


Broken hearts, love's deceit,
pieces fall down to my feet.

Broken promises, love's a lie,
puddles form from tears I cry.

Broken dreams, love's illusion,
sorrowed cause of your intrusion.

Broken hope, love's a game,
doesn't last, ends the same.

Broken sleep, love's the cause,
digs at me with sharpened claws.

Broken spirit, love of sorrow,
stolen now is my tomorrow.

Broken life, love is lost,
Broken now and that's the cost.

You Will Never Know Who I Am


You will never know who I am
Though search you may and try you might
A phony grin I'll plaster on
Assumption doesn't mean you're right

You judge a book by it's cover
You will never know who I am
My soul's too deep to understand
You're wrong to think I give a damn

Inevitably time will pass
You'll claim your guess is just a fact
You will never know who I am
And my pride will remain in tact

I owe you no explanation
One I have you couldn't fathom
You aren't worth the breath it would take
You will never know who I am

I fight for my Life


Is life worth living?
I fight for my life everyday
Through day and night
I would pray for my precious, precious life
To not be wasted

Bombs would drop from the sky
While villagers sound asleep
You would hear the cry of children
Looking for their love ones

I don't want to live like this
I want a life where there is Hope, Peace and Justice

I don't want to hear the cries of children
Instead, I'd love to hear their laughter
I can compare my life as hell
Living in slums
With rats nibbling on my toes

I want to live in a great big mansion
With my own bed
I don't need to share my bed with my families anymore
Because, they too, get their own bed

There will be enough food for everyone
Children would get enough education
We would breathe in clean fresh air
Sooner, there would be no such thing as poverty
We will live in harmony

Please stop the wars
Make this world a better place to live
I don't want to die young
There is still so much things I want to do
That is why..
I fight for my Life.

If teardrops never fell
Your words would still cut deep
It'd be a different place
For when it hurt me then
No tears would drench my face

If teardrops never fell
My eyes would not tell tale
The pillowcase would dry
Would I feel better then
If I could never cry

If teardrops never fell
I'd lose my sweet release
Kept bottled up inside
Angst would overcome me
If all teardrops were dried


If teardrops never fell
I'd take my place instead
In the arms of sorrow
To drown in my regret
Wishing for tomorrow


If teardrops never fell
I'd never speak my peace
My heart could never mourn
Or say a sad goodbye
If tears were never born
